Privacy

This site is made of static pages. There is no database, no login area, and no form that sends anything to a server.

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookies, neither technical nor tracking ones. That is why there is no banner to dismiss.

Statistics

I use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool: it records which page was visited, roughly where from, and what kind of device, in aggregate. It does not create an identifier that follows you from page to page, and it cannot be traced back to you. If that feature is switched off, the script is not even loaded.

Fonts, images and maps

The typefaces, the images and the map of places are all hosted on this site: your browser makes no request to Google, to a CDN or to a social network in order to show you a page.

Video

YouTube videos do not load on their own. You see a preview image hosted here; only if you press play does your browser contact youtube-nocookie.com, and from that point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. If you do not press play, you never talk to YouTube.

When you write to me

The “Message me on WhatsApp” button composes a message inside your browser and opens WhatsApp; the email button opens your mail application. Either way, you send the message with your own tool: this site does not receive it, does not store it and does not pass it to anyone.

When you do write, your details are handled by me, Marco Moraglio, in order to reply to you and to organise the day out or the project we are discussing. I do not give them to anyone else and I do not use them to send you advertising. You can ask me to delete them at any time by writing to info@marcomoraglio.com.

Links to other sites

Where I link to a newspaper article, a tour operator or AIC, those are sites I do not run: once you are there, their own privacy policy applies.
